About Running Rivers
and Eric Rios
The name "Running Rivers" is derived from our family name, which means "river". I wanted to make wine that was personal and expressed the spirit of my grandfather's and father's love of wine and food pairing. Finding the harmony between them brought them joy. We have included that love in our artisan, small-batch sangria made with seasonal fruits, berries, herbs and flowers. Our house specialty is the basil five-berry sangria.
When visiting our wine bar, please ask questions about what goes well with certain dishes. Being a chef and wine specialist, I love to talk about food and wine. One thing I always say is, "There is no wrong answer to wine."
I believe that everyone has a unique palette and that as you experience wine, you will find a certain flavor that speaks to you. Please come see us and enjoy a pleasant conversation about food and wine.
In the summer of 2023, we added a cafe offering Thanksgiving fair trade, organic coffee, Village Bakery pastries. Our summer special is an iced-horchata oat milk latte. We look forward to serving you!
